Parent Homework #4

Très Zéro PARENT HOMEWORK – WEEK FOUR

Dear Parents,
Hard to believe we’re 4 weeks into the new production.  Now we focus on getting all the production elements in place before the big day.

  • Our World Premiere will be December 5th at 6:00 p.m.  We want a huge audience for our students, so please reach out to family and friends and encourage them to attend.  There is no admission charge, but we do ask the attendees reserve tickets in advance through our website at www.riversidedrama.org.  There’s also a poster on the website that you can share with family and friends.  This is a great show for school-aged children, so be sure your students invite their friends too.  Let’s give our cast and crew a full house!
  • Your student should be practicing her/his lines every day.  Just 15 minutes a day of concentrated effort goes a long way.  Learning lines isn’t easy but students grow their cognitive ability by a concerted effort to memorize.  Practice with your student by “running lines.”  Use the script to give your student “cue lines” and ask them to recite her/his lines aloud.  Repeating lines out loud is another good technique for memorization.
Thanks for supporting your student’s interest in learning and experience a theatre production!
